The range of “Yeti” snow blowers includes double stage machines developed for skid-steer loaders, backhoe and wheel loaders, telehandlers, and it is ideal to remove effectively large quantity of snow from roads’ surface. Yeti HD-I model is an independent snow blower supplied by a last generation Power Pack, and it has been designed to allow its usage on Loaders and Backhoe Loaders without AUX hydraulic system.

Yeti HD is a front dual-stage snow blower specially designed for combinations on big machinery such as loaders, Backhoe Loaders and Telehandlers. A high-performance piston hydraulic motor supplies the main power and a torque limiter prevents the possibility of accidental damages due to objects hidden in the snow, such as stones or wood branches, that can get stuck in the rotating screw. In addition each model is equipped with hydraulically powered snow output chimney and flaps and icebreaker helixes in HARDOX® metal decreasing as much as possible the wear caused by gravel and stones mixed with snow.

Double stage snow blower specially projected to be used with machines without hydrostatic system allowing a slow driving (~1÷1,5 km/h) with high oil flow at low RPM. In fact, YETI HD-I is powered by a Stage 5 Yanmar 51,7 Kw at 2500 RPM Power Pack (Diesel independet Engine) and it’s equipped by gearbox with torque limiter able to prevent breakage due to accidental entry of objects hidden in the snow that can get stuck in first stage helix. Provided by ice breaker helices in HARDOX®, hydraulic chute and deflector regulation and is coupled to a frame with sustain for the 4 cylinders in line Power Pack, the transmission organs and the 102 liters reservoir tank for fuel. All the frame is linked to the host machine through a coupling system for pallet forks with 165×70 mm. of internal section.

The standard equipment is completed by two flexible hoses connecting the auxiliary circuit of the host machine so to provide power at the hydraulic motor for snow output chute orientation and an electrical controlled solenoid for flap’s vertical set up. Yeti HD-I is a complete and stand alone proposal for Wheel Loaders, Backhoe Loaders and Telehandlers: an advantageous and efficient alternative to motorized snow blowers for specific use.
