Lince is a compact and lightweight multilink sweeper designed by U.Emme. Since it can be mounted on and operated with different types of tool carriers, it can be used for cleaning operations in different environments. Thanks to a specific connection system, the Lince rotating broom can be operated with two different setups: Lince E and Lince I.

 

Lince I features a front hitch plate that makes it possible to angle the broom left and right through a mechanical or hydraulic system. It is ideal for industrial equipment such as tracked and wheeled skid steers, telehandlers, and small backhoe loaders.

 

Lince E, instead, features a connection system that makes it possible to mount the broom on the arms of mini and midi excavators, as well as backhoe loaders, thus replacing the excavator bucket.

 

The Lince sweeper offers unparalleled versatility, allowing users to perform cleaning operations in a variety of contexts thanks to the possibility to operate the same rotating broom with a wide range of equipment by simply changing the connection system.

 

Thanks to these features, Lince “I” (industrial set-up) can be used to carry out quick cleaning operations on roads, service areas, and construction yards. The possibility to angle the rotating broom allows users to move dirt and debris towards the roadside or ditch.

 

Lince “E” (excavator set-up), instead, can be mounted on excavator arms that can reach specific heights to carry out cleaning operations inside tunnels, on vertical walls, guard rails, Jersey barriers, canopies, as well as concrete canal banks.

Scorpion HD is the solution designed by U.Emme specifically for the forestry maintenance sector. It has been engineered to be mounted on the front of large Skid-Steer Loaders, Backhoe Loaders, and Telehandlers.

 

Two models are available with different working widths. Both are equipped with thick wear-resistant steel plates which integrate two skids, located below the sides, that allow the equipment to slide on the ground.

 

The piston engine generates the rotational motion of the helical rotor through a 5cm-wide high-performance pre-drilled toothed belt, protected by a bolted casing.

 

The forward-mounted rotor optimizes all cutting operations and is equipped with fixed Widia teeth arranged in a spiral layout. It is supported by two side mounts with a “labyrinth” that protects the swivel bearings from any impurities that might be collected while the machine is in use.

 

The material used to manufacture the teeth on the rotor is particularly noteworthy: Widia, or cemented carbide, is a highly-resistant metal alloy made of Tungsten Carbide particles embedded in a Cobalt matrix.

 

This makes it possible to successfully use Scorpion HD also for hard and demanding tasks, such as working in stony or rocky areas. Please remember that although the Scorpion HD Forestry Shredders are very useful tools for various forestry management activities, their use has to be carefully calibrated in order to avoid possible negative impacts on forests.

The addition of new tools comes together with a graphic restyling of the U Match logo that the company decided to develop.

Nowadays, a prudent and sustainable forest management practice that takes into consideration the complex interactions between plants, the surrounding environment, and human activities, is one of the greatest challenges of the forest sector.

 

The forestry mulching heads of the TT HD series designed by U.Emme are the perfect allies providing accuracy, efficiency, and reliability. These tools are truly innovative in the industry as they ensure high performance thanks to their distinctive power which streamlines all forest cleaning operations.

 

The difference between the TT HD and TT series of forestry mulching heads lies in their cutting diameter: the TT series is designed to trim grass, shrubs, and saplings with a trunk measuring up to 10cm in diameter, whereas the TT HD series offers a wider working range.

 

Available in two models—i.e. TT HD-S and TT HD-F—, these mulching heads provide an effective solution for forest cleaning and the management of green areas.
More specifically, the TT HD-S model features “retractable teeth” for trimming plants with a trunk measuring up to 12cm in diameter, while the TT HD-F model, with its distinctive “fixed teeth”, is more suitable for trimming plants with a trunk measuring up to 25cm in diameter.

 

Furthermore, each series comprises three models based on the available working width—i.e. 70cm, 90cm, and 105cm—, totaling six different models. Even though the forestry mulching heads are useful tools for different forest management tasks, they have to be used very carefully so as to mitigate possible negative effects on forests. It is extremely important to adopt regulated and sustainable practices to minimize the risk of damaging forest ecosystems and ensure the long-term conservation of forest resources.

Featuring an aggressive design and capable of providing the perfect combination of high performance and great power, the RCVP vibratory rollers by U.Emme represent an excellence among the equipment used to compact all types of soil.

 

Every model is equipped with pads (or padfoot) welded on the drum and arranged in such a way as to create a thick weave capable of delivering a higher compaction capacity on both hard and loose soils, thus being particularly suitable for the restoration and consolidation of river banks and clay soils, as well as for the maintenance of unpaved roads and forest paths.

 

The roller is powered by a direct drive bi-directional motor that operates through an elastic coupling with the rotating shaft. The standard equipment includes noise reduction silencers for vibration dumping, an adjustable scraper for drum cleaning, and a self-leveling system with a ±15° range.

 

New for 2024. Both the RCVP and RCVL variants in the 1850mm and 2150mm wide models, feature 8 Silent-Blocks on each side compared to the 6 installed on the narrower versions. This upgrade ensures even higher dumping capabilities significantly reducing the vibrations sent to the tool carrier.

With an electricity generation capacity of 120,478kWh we will be able to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 46.03 tons per year and 1,047 tons throughout the 25 years of the plant’s expected service life.

 

It has also been estimated that in one year the amount of dust particles and sulfur dioxide not released into the atmosphere will be around 2,900kg and 65kg respectively. Amazing data that has lead us at U.Emme to strongly believe in this project.

The LTDL is not a simple dozer blade but a hybrid solution that combines all the functions of a tilt-dozer blade with the particular attitude in leveling job offered by a Grader.

 

It’s defined as multifunction because it allows you to carry out different types of work: backfilling, excavation, moving and levelling. In particular, the leveling work can be performed both manually and via a laser self-leveling system.

Each model is equipped with 3 pole support plates for the laser signal receivers (two by sides and one in central position), as well as a rear plate allowing a vertical hydraulic excursion of the blade: all technical solutions designed for the use with laser self-levelling system.

Working with the LTDL is simple. It’s a compact equipment that leaves a completely free field vision to the operator. Compared to blades exclusively designed for leveling jobs, the LTDL offers the possibility of angulating, and therefore moving laterally the soil collected during work, allowing easy dosing of the quantity of soil on the blade in each work phase.

 

This U.EMME equipment, which best expresses the concept of “squared functionality”, will also be part of the products that U.EMME will exhibit at Intermat in Paris. Intermat is an important trade fair in France and will be held at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre.
